Latest Massacres in South Africa: This Is Harming the Nation’s Progress

On Saturday, 26 September 2026, 17 people were killed and 15 wounded at a bar in Wedela township, southwest of Johannesburg. Culprits armed with AK-47s committed these atrocities.

On Sunday, 27 September, in Lwandle near Cape Town, Western Cape, 10 people were shot dead and 11 wounded.

In Durban, 11 people were also shot at a house.

In Kempton Park, 10 women were killed and their bodies dumped in the streets.

The motives for these crimes are not known yet, as the South African Police Service is investigating.

Armed robberies are occurring in most places. Xenophobia and violence against immigrants are being openly promoted by some. Women and children are the hardest hit by this violence.

People with information must quickly help the police. These savages are wrong. All human life is sacred.

Only heavy punishment of the culprits can act as a deterrent against potential crimes.

South Africa is being economically harmed by crime. This will cause investors to avoid South Africa, and this will create more poverty. Tourists will not come anymore to bring foreign currency as they used to do, or enrich us with cultural exchanges that advance the human race.

South Africans are already overburdened with unemployment, poverty and suffering. These crimes and violence are adding fuel to the fire.

Makumbirofa Farms condemns these massacres in the strongest possible language. Don’t harm your neighbours or take away innocent life.

May the families of the victims be comforted during this difficult time.

We must protect ourselves and our neighbours. I pray for the safety of all South Africans and immigrants.
