A Call to Arms
We are living in dangerous times. The right to defend your life and the lives of your loved ones is second only to the constitution itself.

We are living in dangerous times. Across South Africa and beyond, crime is not merely rising — it is evolving. Thieves, kidnappers, and robbers grow bolder by the day. The evidence surrounds us: suburbs fortified with boom gates, communities living behind walls and electric fences, families afraid to sleep at night. This is not paranoia. This is reality.
The right to defend your life and the lives of your loved ones is second only to the constitution itself. And yet, too many people remain unarmed, unprepared, and dangerously vulnerable.

The Threat Is Real — And It Is Growing
Human wickedness is increasing. The day may come — sooner than any of us would like to believe — when the unthinkable happens in your own home. When the people you love most are threatened before your very eyes. That thought must not paralyze you. It must mobilize you.
We cannot afford to be foolish. We cannot afford to be intimidated into surrendering our lives without resistance. The time to prepare is now — before the crisis arrives, not during it.
Lawful Armament Is the Only Responsible Path
This is not a call to recklessness. This is a call to responsibility.
I do not support illegal firearms. Unlicensed weapons fuel the very crime we seek to defend against — they end up in criminal hands, untraceable and unaccountable. That is not the answer.
The answer is lawful, orderly, and disciplined self-defence. Go through the proper legal channels. Obtain your firearm licence from the Police or through the Court. Do things decently and in order. As the Stoic philosophers taught us, calm and disciplined action — not reactive rage — is the foundation of true strength.
To every African, Coloured, Indian, and White brother and sister across South Africa — and indeed every race and tribe across this continent and world — I say: get armed, get licensed, and get prepared.
Beyond the Gun: A Complete Defence Strategy
Firearms are essential, but self-defence is broader than a single weapon. Equip yourself with every lawful tool available:
- Licensed Firearms— your primary and most effective means of serious self-defence.
- Electrical Shock Devices— effective for close-range protection without lethal force.
- Pepper Sprays— a non-lethal first line of defence, easily carried at all times.
- Community Networks— build trust with good neighbours so that in times of danger, you do not stand alone.
A prepared community is far more powerful than any individual acting in isolation. Know your neighbours. Establish signals. Create plans. A network of alert, prepared citizens is a powerful deterrent to any criminal.
The Call to Action
Arm yourself lawfully. Train yourself seriously. Build your community deliberately. Control yourself wisely.
A Word to the Spiritually Misled
Some preachers and religious voices will tell you to lay down your defences and trust entirely in divine intervention. Genuine faith is deeply respected — but faith was never meant to replace personal responsibility.
Jesus Christ himself instructed his disciples to carry swords. When Peter drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, Christ corrected the application — not the possession of the weapon. Those swords were carried for personal protection, not to defend the Creator of the universe, who needs no defence.
Waiting to be “raptured” when criminals break down your door is not faith — it is dangerous passivity. Do not allow religious manipulation to turn you into a willing victim. Be as wise as serpents — know when to stand firm, and when to swiftly remove yourself and your family from harm’s way.
We are not calling for violence. We are calling for preparedness. There is a profound difference.
We must be ready to defend our families, our homes, and our dignity. We must be prepared to fight — or die fighting — rather than surrender what is precious to us without resistance.
