When there is danger, the Ostrich puts its head in the sand. It’s a common human practice to retreat to the comfort of the doctrine of rapture. As for now, there is no rapture; we must reap what we sow.
We entertained the shutdown of the economy due to fake COVID-19. We tolerated corruption due to pietism. We refuse to campaign for the death penalty. We refuse to speak up for the unborn babies being killed daily in abortion clinics.
Therefore, there is no rapture. We must experience the hell we created or let happen in our societies. We refused to fight poverty by correcting institutions that cause it; now there is massive crime.
We refused to apply Christianity to politics. Now we have some evil people who always cause problems.
The Pastors who give rapture dates are talking about what they don’t know. Soon they will be regarded as fake. Leave the dates; just do your great work. Let’s fight crime, poverty, and share the gospel and leave things we don’t know.
South African Pastor Joshua Mhlakela insists the Rapture is still going ahead and has set a new date for the ‘Rapture.’ The Pastor has previously said the rapture would take place on 23 or 24 September 2025. According to Mhlakela, the new “Rapture” date is set for 7 or 8 October because they wrongly followed the Julian Calendar 13 days behind the Gregorian calendar.
